Terms of Service

These are the rules for using mykal. By creating an account or using mykal you agree to them. They're intentionally short.
1. The service
mykal is an LLM-assisted scheduler for routine tasks. It connects to your Google and/or Microsoft calendars and helps you book recurring items at good times. It's offered by the OTROTL ecosystem.
2. Your account
- You must be 13 or older (16 in the EU) to create an account.
- Keep your SSO credentials secure; mykal is only as secure as your SSO.
- One account per person. Bulk-automated signups are not allowed.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't abuse mykal to spam others via email/webhook reminders.
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer or DDoS the service.
- Don't use mykal for illegal activity in your jurisdiction.
- Don't try to extract other tenants' data — multi-tenant isolation is strict.
4. AI output
Scheduling decisions come from LLMs (Claude and OpenAI). They are suggestions, not professional advice. You are responsible for the commitments you keep. mykal provides the decision rationale for every booking so you can verify it.
5. Fees
mykal is free during beta. If/when paid tiers launch, existing users will keep free Pro access as a beta-founder benefit for life. We'll announce pricing at least 30 days before anything changes.
6. Termination
You can delete your account any time from Settings -> Danger zone. We can suspend accounts that violate acceptable use; we'll explain why. On termination, all your data is deleted within 30 days except audit records we must retain.
7. Warranty and liability
mykal is provided "as is." We work hard on reliability but we can't guarantee it. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $0 if you're on the free tier).
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes trigger an email notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date = acceptance.
