About mykal
mykal is an LLM-assisted scheduler for routine tasks. You type what you want to happen; mykal figures out when. It's part of the OTROTL ecosystem of tools, shares the ecosystem's SSO, and runs inside the shared operational perimeter.
What we built
mykal combines a deterministic pre-filter (the kind of calendar math humans do badly) with an LLM tiebreak (the kind of semantic judgement humans do well). The pre-filter narrows thousands of candidate time slots down to five; Claude or OpenAI picks the best one with a plain-English rationale. Every decision is auditable.

Event titles stay private unless you explicitly opt in. OAuth tokens are Fernet-encrypted at rest.
